Our History
LEAF was founded in 2009 to provide program enhancements, while serving as a safety net for worthwhile programs facing termination due to lack of funding. Officially incorporated in May of 2010, LEAF is recognized as a legal entity that functions independently of the Lancaster Central School District. LEAF is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization that accepts and administers donations, gifts, scholarships, and grants to improve K-12 students’ educational experiences and scholastic and extracurricular opportunities.
