PAVE THE WAY: OUR PAVER PURCHASE PROGRAM
LEAF is embarking on extended fundraising to assist in the new facilities project for the Lancaster Central School District. The new Len Jankiewicz Athletic Complex will create an improved field facility that will be enjoyed by a broad range of school AND community teams and organizations. The plans and renderings outlined by Young + Wright Architectural include:
- A new turf field with lights and bleachers for school and community sports, in-school athletics, marching band and any other community groups that may need use of the space.
UPDATE: We made it! We have raised the $500,000.00 that will be donated for the Capital improvement project for the turf field. The turf field will be used by in-school ahtletics, soccer, lacrosse, marching band and community use. This donation will take place at the Board of Education Meeting at William Street School on Monday, March 21st at 7:00 pm. We could not have done this without the help from our schools and our community! We would like to send a special thank you to the LHS Marching Band, the Lancaster Depew Soccer League and the Lancaster/Depew Football Game!
